How Oxygen Concentrators Work
The air that we breathe is a mixture of various gases, approximately 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and 1% other gases such as carbon dioxide, neon, and hydrogen.
Belluscura, working closely with its research partners, develops innovative, proprietary oxygen enrichment technology that concentrates ordinary air into medical grade oxygen. Our patented technology allows us to deliver 82-92% pure oxygen, depending on the clinical need. We have researched and developed a wide range of oxygen enrichment technologies.

Prescription Information
The FDA requires a valid prescription for portable oxygen concentrators. Belluscura must verify your prescription prior to purchase. Send your prescription via email or fax it to 888-919-2924. Our team can contact your doctor on your behalf to request an oxygen concentrator prescription. Call customer service at 877-223-5548 if you have prescription or X-PLOR POC questions.
Your prescription should include:
- Patient’s full name, address, and phone number
- Physician’s name, address, and phone number
- Flow Setting
- Physician’s signature and date
