FAQs
Can I fly with the X-PLOR oxygen concentrator?
Yes, you can fly with the X-PLOR portable oxygen concentrator. Prior to flying, contact your airline to let them know you are bringing a portable oxygen concentrator on board and find out if there is any paperwork, such as a statement from your doctor, that might be needed. Consult with your physician before traveling to understand your proper flow rate and frequency of use if traveling to different altitudes. Ensure you have enough fully charged battery(s) to last at least 150% of the length of your flight or the period of time when you will not be able to charge your battery.
May I use my Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA)?
The X-PLOR and the DISCOV-R are Qualified Medical Expenses (QME), and you may be able to submit for reimbursement with your HSA or FSA.
